The Quaternion is the most conceptual and technically advanced model in the iBPutter Sweet Spot collection.
Its name is inspired by quaternion mathematics — a complex number system used to describe three-dimensional rotation — perfectly aligned with the core idea of putting: a symmetrical, controlled motion in space without distortion or torque.
Built with a centered shaft, true bilateral symmetry, and a unique cylindrical head structure, the Quaternion delivers exceptional visual alignment and stroke balance.

Inspired by decades of experience and a legacy in the game, our models combine Zero Torque geometry, centered-shaft balance, and visual alignment to give your stroke stability and purpose.
All our putters are engineered and manufactured to ensure zero torque. This standard means the head remains stable throughout the stroke, with no unwanted rotation that could affect the ball’s path. The result is greater consistency, cleaner impact, and a more predictable playing experience. Each model undergoes specific technical checks to confirm full compliance with this requirement.

About Iván Ballesteros
Iván Ballesteros worked closely with Seve Ballesteros during the final 15 years of the golf legend’s life, serving as his personal representative and managing several business ventures within the Ballesteros Group. He played a key role in the creation of the Seve Ballesteros Foundation, where he served as founding patron and executive vice president from 2009 until stepping down in 2013.
Throughout his career, Iván has been deeply involved in a wide range of golf-related initiatives, including caddying for him twice at the US Masters, collaborating on golf course designs, and overseeing major international events and tournaments.
Between 2006 and 2008, Iván learned directly from Seve as they worked together with MD Golf to develop a line of Seve-branded golf clubs — an experience that gave him valuable insights into golf club design, especially in wedges and putters.
A professional golfer and instructor since 2000, and a proud member of the PGA of Spain, Iván now presents a new project: a line of putters under the iBPutter Sweet Spot name — distinct, purpose-driven tools designed to help golfers improve their performance where it matters most: on the green.
