A Legacy of Innovation
Iván Ballesteros grew up in a family where golf was not just a sport, but a way of life. In the 1980s, he watched his father boldly modify a Ping Anser by centering the shaft—an intuitive yet radical idea that left a lasting technical imprint on him. Years later, his close collaboration with Seve Ballesteros, especially through their club-design work with MD Golf between 2005 and 2008, further refined his understanding of balance, feel, and playability. Those same principles continue to define every putter he creates today.

The DNA: 373G & 410G
The first two models, 373G and 410G, defined the core DNA of the brand. Demanding by design, they help golfers improve through better mechanics, offering stability, precision and a more committed stroke.
These models established four pillars that still define the entire line: centered balance, zero torque geometry, bilateral symmetry and a cylindrical alignment system.

Evolving the Concept: BX2, Quaternion and Beyond
Building on that foundation, Iván developed models like the BX2 and Quaternion — retaining the original philosophy but adding more conventional shapes, modern face technologies and innovations such as anti-vibration carbon shafts. Each new model offers more options for different putting styles while preserving consistency, improving roll and reducing strokes on the green.
New designs are already in development, always faithful to the original concept.

Our Story

iBPutter Sweet Spot was unveiled on October 3rd, 2023, at the Old Course in St Andrews by Iván Ballesteros, whose vision was deeply inspired and shaped by the enduring influence of his uncle and mentor, Seve Ballesteros—one of the most iconic figures in the history of golf.
During the last fifteen years of Seve’s life, Iván worked alongside him in nearly every area of the golf industry. Out of all those projects and experiences, it was within the creative process of designing golf equipment where Iván absorbed invaluable knowledge about feel, balance, precision, and performance.
That experience transformed not only his understanding of the game, but also his personal philosophy: that every detail matters, that design must serve function, and that a golf club should inspire trust as much as accuracy.
iB Putter is the result of that legacy. A collection of putters that are more than just tools—they are a statement of intent on the green. Instruments through which knowledge has been transferred. A philosophy forged by experience, observation, and learning through one of golf’s greatest minds, and carried forward with purpose.
