If you struggle with consistency on the greens and are looking for a change then the new iB Putter Sweet Spot is a must-try. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the iB Putter Sweet Spot and test it and I’ll be honest I was surprised at just how good this putter was. One thing I noticed straight away is just how well-balanced it is and the feedback off the face. When taking the putter back you feel in control of your stroke, and when you catch it off the middle it is a softer-sound. When you do catch it slightly off-centre you will feel and hear the difference which for me just makes you concentrate even more on hitting it from the centre. I used this tiny putter for three rounds and was blown away by the experience I’ve never been more excited to try a new product. I was like a kid at Christmas when it came to unboxing. I’d seen images online but that doesn’t prepare you for when you actually get the IB Sweet Spot in your hands. The grip feels fantastic in the hands and honestly might even be the best putter grip I’ve used, while the head design is very striking despite the unusual shape. So why is the face is so small? Put simply, because it gives you very little margin for error. You probably think that sounds like a bad thing, but there is method to the madness. It means you are more locked in on your stroke, simply because you have to be. You can’t miss on the heel or toe because there is no heel or toe! From inside 10 feet I had a confidence that I rarely have on the greens. I made birdie putts from six and eight feet so that was a big plus. It has a strong alignment line and you can use it right or left handed too. If you do see the IB Putter Sweet Spot in your local golf retailer you should hit a few putts with it just to see how it feels. You may love it, you may not, but it’s something fun and different and definitely worth a look.“

The IB Sweet Spot putter has great feel.
Overall I feel more confident in the shorter putts. This putter helps ensure that you line up properly.
On longer putts I feel a better touch with the IB Sweet Spot putter. When struck properly the response is consistent and predictable and you can “feel” the lag putts better than any putter I’ve used in my 51 years.
The actual sweet spot is small so be just sure you don’t look up! The small face does help keep your focus however.
